Terms of service

Deposit Information

  • A deposit of 20% of the total cost will need to be paid to confirm the order.
  • Deposit can be made by Direct Debit (contact us for details), Credit Card or cash.
  • All quotes are pending payment of deposit and only valid for 14 days from the date of issue and are subject to change after this date.

Confirmation of Orders

  • All orders must be confirmed a minimum of three weeks prior to the event. Minimum of 4 weeks for Weddings.
  • Please ensure all contact details, personal information, spelling of names, design requirements, delivery & collection details and any requested changes have been properly documented on your cake confirmation. Notify via Email immediately of any errors to jane@tonittocakes.com

Cancellations / Change Of Date

  • All cancelations must be received in writing to jane@tonittocakes.com. Instagram and Facebook will not be accepted.
  • Cancellations made one week prior of event will forfeit the 20% deposit paid.
  • All cancellations made within one week of order will incur the full fee of the custom cake.
  • Orders can be postponed with no penalty, all payments received will be held until the new event date.

Allergies

  • Tonitto Continental Cakes will not be held responsible for any allergies.
  • Products may contain allergens or come into contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, soy, sulphites, and other allergens. It is the client’s responsibility to inform their guests that of any risks.

Storage

  • Where cakes are covered/decorated in fondant, including figurines; these should not be refrigerated as this may cause the colours in the icing to run due to condensation.
  • Storage of these decorated cakes should be in a cool dry dark place out of direct sunlight & away from heat.
  • Buttercream cakes can be stored in a refrigerator however they can be stored in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight and away from any heat, for no more than 2 hours after delivery or on pick up.

Non-Guarantee

  • Tonitto Continental Cakes cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake or products once they are delivered and in the care of a client or the venue.
  • Where a client self-transports a decorated cake, we are not responsible for any damage(s) that may be caused/sustained during your transportation.

Photo Usage

  • Tonitto Continental Cakes reserves the right to use any photos we take of your creation for media related activities such as publishing on our website, social media or advertising.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
